Yes It is strangely London!
I wondered what a big city feel would be like...
LON, PAR, NYC are cities that I had heard that are the biggest cities in the world..known for the fast life and
most upmarket trends..
and guess what i find strange...it is closer to home...much deeper..i guess...
There is a typical indian culture...which i believe is very much a part of the London city..now..
Or maybe for some undecided reason... being an Indian..I see things through an Indian lens..
The culture is no different..
Buying your degrees..getting your work done...people selling mangoes on streets...by calling out...
An attitude that is stuffed in all of us...an air of superiority for nothing..
What comes more a disbelief is the Indians the so called British Indians...who have raj in their blood..no what I mean...the babugiri..of the old british colony..
It is strange that how we indians get bought with little money and pomp and show....it is easy to buy what u want...
i see hateful eyes of what is called the confused desi lot...
They cant believe that we Indians can afford to buy I pads in bulk..and that we not only drive only when driven...that not only as they think we have servants to cook our food...but today we have the purchasing power to be driven around in London..too and servants who wil work for us here too...
Its a strange world for me...the further I go the closer I get to home...and find the mindset no different...
and as someone told me very correctly " Kaue har jagah kaale hi hotey hain"
